Teams

Wherever I've gone to work, there's always been one thing that's been ever-present: football.

There are many lessons from playing football, or any sports for that matter, and being part of a team.

Famous coach Luis Enrique has a great take on being part of a team.

In a recent documentary about his first season at PSG, he was seen warning Mbappe, his star player at the time, about his obligation to fulfil his defensive duties - just after the player had scored a hat-trick.

"He's the best player in the world," the Spaniard insisted several times. "But if the team with the best player in the world always won, PSG would have eight Champions League titles and they haven't had any."

He added:

"The team will play better," he said. "Next year," he thought, "I'm going to control everything that happens on the pitch."

And that's what being part of a team is all about.

Make sure the needs of the group go above your own.
