Sales is hard.

Anyone telling you otherwise is either not a sales person or hasn't sold anything in their life.

Cards on the table..I'm a Marketer.

We exist to generate excitement and ultimately demand around the product.

But we don't close.

Problem is when you're doing business yourself, you have no choice but to get good at sales.

So what can you do?

Well here's what I'm doing:

- Leveraging the latest technology from HubSpot to Apollo to Clay to Instantly to help with outreach
- Asking professional sales people in my network for advice.
- Watching, reading and listening to the best sales people around the world online
- Rinse and repeat

There's no shortcut with selling.

But I think once you get good at it the payback will be immense.
