Run Forrest

A friend recently asked how do you switch off from work.

The answer is I don't.

But here's what helps: running.

I've been running since school, and competed in races during university.

Running is not only good for your physical health, but as important, your mental health too.

It also teaches you that to get what you want in life, you have to be prepared to put the work in.

Nothing comes easy.

And that no matter what stage you're at, starting again and being consistent helps you to win.

I'd encourage everyone to incorporate running (and gym work) into their life, whether that be 1, 2, 5, 10 KM or even a marathon!

What do you do to switch off?

PS - Some must-haves for running:

- Shoes: I rotate between Nike Zoom Fly 6 (distance) and Vaporfly 3 (speed)
- Sunglasses: Beat the sun if you’re lucky to be in a sunny climate with a pair of Oakley Radar sunglasses
- Clothing: Get fit and support from Nike ‘Dri-fit’ running tops and shorts
- Tech: Record every run using Strava so you can track/measure runs
