Today, ChatGPT are launching their next agent, capable of independently performing deep research.

When given a prompt, ChatGPT will locate, analyze, and synthesize hundreds of online sources, delivering a comprehensive report in just minutes instead of the hours it would typically require from a human.

Firstly, I wish I had this for writing my university thesis!

Market search is something that is necessary in business and marketing especially, but it's not one of my strengths.

This is another example of a task that will be largely replaced by AI.

And yet, interpreting the research is what separates the good from the great brands.

Apple famously eschews market research in favor of making great products. Steve Jobs famously said:

"People don't know what they want until you show it to them."

What is not in doubt however, is that AI is making people move much faster than ever before.
