A lot can change in a year.
For me the biggest change: vibe coding.
For the first time, building apps feels creative instead of technical using tools like Lovable, Replit, Bolt etc.
When the barrier to building drops, creativity explodes.
Next year, everyone IMO almost becomes a creator.
In my case, this year has been 'marketer turned builder.'
Previously, all of my work involved doing in-house and agency marketing work.
This time last year I started working on my first app and since then have built several others.
So now you could call me more a generalist, something I think will be applied to more and more people.
But alas, it's the holidays.
A time to touch grass and catch up on rest, reading and most importantly, family.
