Go Direct

Almost 1 million views.
From one post.
And it's not even the launch event.
It's the launch event teaser.
Go direct.
That’s the newsletter.
Just kidding (but it could be).
Here’s why ‘Go Direct’ rocks:
1) Authenticity builds trust. People connect with people, not press releases. A founder’s voice cuts through noise and feels more real.
2) There’s also speed. I’m a PR person at heart so this pains me to say (even tho I approve!) but there’s no middle layers mean faster communication and fewer chances for the message to get diluted.
3) It’s a fact; media wants founders, and prefer direct access to decision-makers.
4) Another benefit of going direct? Talking directly to users or partners gives sharper, unfiltered insights to iterate faster. Look at Elon!
5) Personal brand = company brand. A visible founder builds equity not just for themselves but for the company long-term.
6) Last and not least, impact. Most competitors won’t bother. Founder-led outreach is still underused. How many execs actually do their own socials? Not many.
