10 years ago I’d be celebrating my birthday at the club.
Today? I'm at a co-working space.
Funny how priorities change.
Like a lot of you probably, in my 20s, success felt more external.

Now I mostly care about:
- Freedom
- Ownership
- Building things
- Meaningful work
The shift from corporate life to entrepreneurship changes you a bit too.
Ironically, startup life is less glamorous than people think.
A lot of it is just sitting at a laptop solving problems repeatedly.
But I genuinely think building things is one of the most rewarding feelings there is.
Especially in a world increasingly shaped by software, AI and the internet.
Anyway, not the birthday I would’ve imagined 10 years ago.
Probably the one I’d choose now though.
