My prediction: 98% of social media is going to be AI avatars and bots.
That’s not science fiction. It’s already happening.
Based on what?
Wired on OpenAI's new AI based TikTok competitor:
"The app, which features a vertical video feed with swipe-to-scroll navigation, appears to closely resemble TikTok—except all of the content is AI-generated."
And ofcourse if you haven't seen the videos already, Sora 2 is almost producing human like AI video.
Think about it: the platforms are built on engagement. If AI can create unlimited content, unlimited comments, unlimited faces, why wouldn’t it?
Faster, cheaper, endless supply.
But here’s the paradox: when everything is AI, real becomes premium.
- Real founders telling their own story
- Real creators showing their actual lives
- Real brands speaking in a human voice
The value of authenticity only goes up when bots dominate the baselin
My prediction again: 98% of social will be avatars and bots.
The other 2% will be where trust, influence, and business will live.
