Sell Identity, Not Features

Believe it or not, Google has been making smartphones for over 10 years.

And yet… has almost no market share compared to the iPhone.

It’s not about specs. On paper, Pixel devices often rival or beat Apple’s. Camera, software, AI integration...all top tier.

But that’s not what wins mass adoption.

Apple sells brand.

Apple sells design.

Apple sells the feeling of owning an iPhone.

That’s the gap. And it’s why branding and design will always beat raw capability.

The best product doesn’t always win. The most desired one does.

Bottom line: Google sells features. Apple sells identity.
